Hedonist was easy to be in touch with. They answer promptly. They are friendly and helpful. The place itself was on a central location, walkable to all central areas. If you have guests who sleep at the streetside then it is noisy because of the cinema and pub. When you only use the back bedroom then you dont hear any noise. The flat is spacious but the bedrooms need to be updated. We had a lovely time in Paris and Hedonist as a company is very helpful and responsive which made the stay easier. See less

We stayed here with my mom for a long weekend and had a great time. The location is perfect, you can walk pretty much everywhere. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are excellent, and despite being so central, it’s extremely quiet. Highly recommend!

We loved the location of Rafael’s flat - close to everything. The flat is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The front door was a bit tricky to open but once we figured it out we had no problems. Thank you Rafael and Sophie for responding so quickly to our needs.

Outstanding location so close to Paris highlights. Although retrieving key from local business was cumbersome, it was close to apartment and directions clear. Rustic common area of apartment building but you are in historic Paris. Beds very comfortable and amazing light from windows.

I stayed at Raphael's place for 5 nights with my wife, mother-in-law and 4 month old daughter. It was a perfect place for a small family or 2 couples. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of St Germain on a very cute street with tons of places to eat, drink and enjoy. The unit itself is clean, has plenty of natural light and is overall exactly what you think of when you think Parisien flat. I would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a clean, large unit in a fun neighborhood! See less

The apartment was cute, cozy and even though was smaller, feels like a lot of space with high ceilings and the way it was decorated made it feel warm and cozy for everybody. Close to everything. We absolutely adored our stay. This is a gorgeous heritage apartment that has been tastefully modernised while losing none of its charm. The undulating floor boards tell the story of their age and the modern kitchen and furniture make it super comfortable and homely. You couldn’t beat the location - walking distance to so many top sights including Notre dame and the louvre. The neighbourhood is lively, which we liked, but the street noise dropped and didn’t impact our sleep at all. Our hosts were wonderful, providing lots of great local recommendations and available for any questions we had. It was a delight coming home to this apartment at the end of busy days and having a beautiful space to relax and unwind in. Would 100% recommend this property - we hope we can return some day. Unfortunately, this stay started off on quite the wrong foot as the instructions given for the key [to pickup at a locker at a grocery store with a code] were not accurate and the grocery clerk kept telling me this was a scam as they don't hold Airbnb keys, they only do something called "keynest." So of course, I was totally freaked out, called Airbnb, thought I had been scammed, etc... Turns out it was a big mix up, one I still don't fully understand, but we eventually got instructions for an alternative key. While I wanted to leave because at that point I was so exhausted, wasted half a day in Paris just trying to figure this place out, and didn't trust anything anymore-my husband went up to the place and assured me it was as described. So, now to the good part: The place is TO DIE FOR. It was exactly as pictured and it was in a fab area. So, all's well that ends well. I will say it's definitely antique charm. Yes, the floors are uneven, but they're centuries old GORG. We loved it. See less

This was the perfect flat for our unforgettable trip to Paris! We traveled with our two young boys and found the apartment to be full of charm, while also offering plenty of space for our family. Each evening, we loved opening the windows to let the breeze flow through and take in the sounds of the city—it added such a magical touch to our stay. Although the weather was unusually warm, the flat stayed cool and comfortable thanks to the beautiful, airy windows. We actually forgot about the second bathroom until the last day—that was completely our oversight, but it was a nice surprise nonetheless! The home is located in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of great spots to eat and drink nearby. Each morning, we walked down to Boulangerie Pâtisserie Liberté and enjoyed their fresh croissants and other delicious pastries—an absolute highlight! I would highly recommend this flat for its prime location, thoughtful and responsive host, and its charming Parisian character. See less

This stay was with work colleagues/friends, the singular bathroom requires passing through the main bedroom, so perhaps ideal for a couple or family. The apartment is perfectly located for sight seeing with Notre Dame and the Louvre a few minutes walk away. The apartment is also a few minutes away from the metro and multiple brasseries and patisseries. The apartment is beautiful with high ceilings and very bright. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and sizeable. There were few negatives. We visited when the temperature was only a few degrees outside and the bathroom was extremely cold the entire time (radiator only partially warmed up). The only bathroom is situated off one of the bedrooms. For us this wasn’t an issue as we travelled with a child but adults sharing may not like having to walk through someone else’s bedroom to gain access to the bathroom (and only toilet). The hallway up the stairs to the property had suffered a lot from flaking paint (it looked a little like the roof had started to collapse) which wasn’t a good look ( but may be out of control of the owner). The location of this property is phenomenal - easy to find and navigate to via any means of transportation in the city and everything you could want is just outside your door. We love the area and the life of all the restaurants, shops, and cafes. Raphael was very responsive with our queries getting ready for the visit and also during our stay so I really appreciated that. Our experience with the flat was right in line with other reviews we’d read before booking so no surprises (e.g. steep staircase that’s a bit challenging with a baby, the main bathroom is in the primary bedroom so if you’re sharing with friends or family they need to walk through your bedroom, floorboards that are loose or broken under the rugs, etc.) - a lot of that feels as though it gives it even more personality though once you learn how to work around it. The baby cot was broken when we tried setting it up on our first night and Raphael was quick to try to help so we appreciated that communication. See less

This was a beautiful apartment with character and amenities that made our stay exceptional. It was exactly as described and was perfect for my first visit to Paris! Loved the modern kitchen where we enjoyed coffee before we began our day. The bathroom was spacious and provided a great shower. The two bedrooms were spacious as well and the beds were comfortable with lovely linens. The neighborhood was charming and a perfect location that allowed us to walk to explore the city. We also had trouble getting the front door open to the flat on the first day, but we figured it out and everything was fine. Raphael was an attentive and responsive host. He even went the extra mile for me as I left valuable items on the nightstand and didn't realize it until on the plane home. I emailed him immediately and he responded right away. They found my items and shipped to my home! I'm so thankful and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris! It IS truly "Outstanding"! See less
