Wer nicht in einem der vielen Restaurants in der Umgebung essen möchte, findet in der Küche alles, um selbst zu kochen. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und der Blick vom Pool ist einfach traumhaft. Alles war sehr sauber und entspannend, und unsere Gastgeber waren stets aufmerksam und rücksichtsvoll. Auch die Gäste in der Nachbarwohnung waren sehr rücksichtsvoll. Wer sich zurückziehen möchte, findet mehr als genug Platz auf der Anlage. Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und jederzeit wiederkommen! Your MIL made sure to have us let her know if we needed anything, but we also didn’t want to always bother her. It would’ve been nice if there were more coffee pods (at least 1/person per day) and it would’ve been nice to know that laundry access was through your MIL (we assumed we could do it ourselves—maybe we missed this in the listing). Would be helpful to know what to do with trash/recycling during your visit. We do hope to return at some point! See less

Public review: We had a wonderful 10 day stay at the Gite The hosts were warm and welcoming; helping to book restaurant reservations and even a hair salon appointment. The gite itself was per the photos - compact and filled with light and quality furnishings with high quality soap and linens. The loft was great and having the washroom upstairs right adjacent to the bedroom worked well for privacy. The town of Alleins is pleasant and quiet with a small grocery store and restaurant and pizzeria and is a short down hill 15 minutes walk. The location was great for day trips to Avignon, Aix en Provence and Arles, many local hilltop villages like Gordes, Lauris and Eygalières. The gite’s beauty, gardens and stunning pool look over the Luberon sunsets. We enjoyed hillside walks and cycling. It was ideal for those who love a super quiet retreat after a busy day exploring the markets, hillside villages and towns, wineries, abbeys, crafts and art of Provence. We loved picnicking outside by the pool or on our patio with produce from farm stands in the area and charcuterie from the markets, especially during sunset. The space inside is clean and thoughtfully decorated. There’s even a sweet cat that greets you throughout the day. We took day trips to Aix, Marseille, Gordes, etc. so the location was great. The pool and property is shared with the family and guests from another unit but there is plenty of space to enjoy. See less

Wij hadden een heerlijk verblijf. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, maar vooral het uitzicht en het zwembad overstegen onze verwachting. Met de auto zijn een aantal leuke steden en restaurants in de buurt. Zeer vriendelijke mensen om bij te verblijven.

Der Aufenthalt war wie gewünscht: ruhige Lage, sehr sauber, gute Heizung, brauchbare funktionierende Küche für Selbstversorger, großzügiges Grundstück, grandioser Blick, die Alpilles und der Luberon sind sehr gut erreichbar, ideales Revier zum Wandern und Rennradeln und Mountainbiken. Der hübsche Ort Alleins ist unweit und hat eine wunderbare Bäckerei (täglich !!! geöffnet) und einen Sparmarkt, sowie einfachere Restaurants (diese waren leider über die Feiertage geschlossen). Es fehlt an nichts. Kleiner Tipp für Weinnasen: La Cave à François bei Mallemort. Dort gibt es neben tollen Weinen auch die passende Beratung mit viel lokalem Charme. This is one of the most beautiful places to base yourself to discover all that is on offer in the South of France. Easy commutes to the Luberon villages, Marseille and Aix en Provence. In fact this is one of the most central locations you can find in an authentic village that isn’t overrun with tourists. The accomodation is exceptional with expansive views across the Luberon and beyond from the infinity pool and the accommodation too. The sunsets are amazing. They were extremely accommodating hosts and were quick to provide anything we needed, or point us in the right direction when we were looking for things to do in the area. They gifted us a lovely bottle of wine from a local winery, and Dominique brought us over fresh figs that were grown on his property. Absolutely stunning views, we had a wonderful time staying in Alleins. It is a quiet village which suited us, though there is so much to explore by car in the area. The hosts were there to greet us upon arrival and were very attentive and friendly. We had a baby with us and they kindly did some laundry for us and made sure we had everything we needed at the property. There is an outside grill we had access to next to the main house which we used to cook once our daughter was asleep which worked well. Pool is fantastic, chilly but fine once you get moving. The only very small negative was that the Aesop toiletries advertised in the listing had been filled with a much cheaper alternative. See less

The house is close to drive to nearby villages and convenient from the Avignon train station and to the airport in Marseilles (we traveled from and to both). I‘ve spent a week at this hidden gem on top of a hill overlooking the lovely landscape with a spectacular view. The apartment is located on a private property with a beautiful garden and ideal for two adults (no pets!). In fact, there are two apartments in the building, which can be rented separately or together. The walls are not that thick but it’s fine when people are considerate. The living & dining area are separated from the bedroom & bathroom on the upper floor, accessible via a narrow stairway. All necessary amenities are provided; the kitchen is small but well equipped and on sunny days, you can sit and dine outside or even enjoy the pool. The property is calm and getting around, a bike or car is needed (free & safe parking guaranteed). There’s a lot to see, from charming villages to biking or hiking activities in the nearby Luberon or Les Alpilles mountains. The owners have been very nice and welcoming, they enjoy gardening and sharing recommendations for sightseeing. See less

It was great experience for us to stay in Raphael's house, it has the best view of Luberon mountain and the sun rise was perfect! Raphael's parents are just so kind and host us very nicely. I will recommend it with 5/5.

Although we haven't met Raphael the host's parents Dominique and Solange were very friendly and welcoming. The place itself has a really great location with a fantastic view from the terrace. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
